Most campaigns still plan at the constituency level. The winning campaigns plan at booth level. This guide walks the framework we use, week by week, from the 90 day mark to poll day.

Day 90 to 60: read the data

Start with three datasets. Booth-wise past election data, booth-wise caste and community composition, and a first-pass margin heatmap. These three together answer: where do you stand, where are the swing booths, and where is the community driver behind them.

Day 60 to 30: design the plan

Group your booths into four buckets. Strongholds you must protect. Swing booths you must move. Structural losses you must contain. Neutral booths you must convert. Every booth on your rolls fits into one bucket and gets a corresponding playbook.

Day 30 to 15: brief captains

Every booth needs a captain. Every captain needs a bucket-specific playbook and community-matched messaging. This is where most campaigns leak. They deploy generic captains with generic scripts because the plan was never mapped down to booth level in the first place.

Day 14 to 1: execute

The last two weeks are execution. Turnout ops in strongholds. Community-matched outreach in swing booths. Damage control in structural losses. Anything else is noise.
